Safaricom Sherehekea data
Do you remember the day you first got that safaricom sim card?
No need, coz Safaricom will remind you with free 1 GB sherehekea data.
The data is valid for 2 days and can be used to browse, stream or for downloads.
For those who are asking if there's any catch, fortunately there is non, all you have to do is enjoy the free data.
This is one of the many Safaricom loyalty programs which include bonga points, tunukiwa, storo and so many other rewards that the company keeps throwing it's customers now and then.
The 1 GB data  costs Ksh.99 daily under tunukiwa, with Safaricom data still the most expensive as compared to other networks.
According to Kachwanya, Safaricom was offering 100 MB free sherekea data on 14th December 2016 to mark the many years they have been loyal Safaricom customers.
But then, you had to download the Safaricom app in order to enjoy the free data.
During it's 18th anniversary celebrations, Safaricom announced that it will henceforth reward it's customers with 1GB data gift during their birthdays.
The gift, which is also bundled with a Ksh.1 per minute calling rate is valid for 24 hours, and all Safaricom subscribers are entitled to it and don't require any subscription or filling forms of any kind.
As Safaricom turns 20, customers who have are also turning 20 or those who have been subscribers since the telco's inception will get a 20 GBb Free data valid for 7 days. Customers will get rewarded as from 20th October 2020, as Safaricom marks 20 years since started in 2009.
Other subscribers are also not left out, as they will also benefit from free calls and data during the one month period that Safaricom has set aside to reward it's loyal subscribers.
Every customer is entitled to a free 20 minutes during the one month long offer period, but this is Safaricom and we all know that they never like fishing out free goodies. That means despite being notified a day earlier of the offer, it will only be the first call that will be free upto 20 minutes.
There is also another offer known as 20@20, where customers get to enjoy 20 minutes+ 20 MBs for just Ksh.20. The offer is available under Tunukiwa or by just dialling *444*20#.
