Airtel Amazing Data Bundles
Airtel, Kenya's second biggest Telco by subscribers has been marketing itself as the 'Smart Network', and if not for it's rather poor Network coverage in the country it would be easy to see why.

Airtel has some of the cheapest rates in the country be it call minutes or data bundles. If you have an Airtel line then you must have used Airtel Tubonge, a call tariff that gives you free Airtel to Airtel calls and call other networks @ Ksh. 2 Bob per minute for just Ksh. 10 bob a day.

How competitive are Airtel bundles?
While we might not look fair enough to compare Airtel Vs Safaricom data, one of our key role is to ensure our readers get the best out of our blog posts, and if this article will save you some shillings then that is our bride.
For Ksh. 20 Safaricom gives you 70MB unexpeiry data for Ksh. 20. Airtel on it's part gives you 200MB for the same price, valid for 24 hours. We could attribute the difference on data to the validity period, since Airtel 200MB will expire within 24 hours, while for Safaricom you can use the 70MB as long as you wish.
But knowing too well the amount of data many Smartphone users spend per day, it will be more sensible to go for Airtel, nothing that they also give you free WhatsApp.
Coming to the monthly bundles, Airtel gives you 3GB for 300, 5GB for Ksh. 500 and 12GB for Ksh. 1000. On their part, Safaricom gives you 1500MB for Ksh. 300, 2500MB for Ksh. 500 and 5,000MB for Ksh. 1,000. Just like in the earlier case, the huge difference here could only be attributed to the bundle validity, otherwise there would be no justifiable reason for the difference.
