How to subscribe to the New Airtel Unliminet bundles now with more data.

Airtel unliminet bundles

For a number of yeas now, airtel Kenya has been offering it's customers a product known as Airtel unliminet. The phrase seems to have been borrowed from the then Orange Kenya's unlimited which offered its consumers daily, weekly or monthly data subscriptions.
But unlike orange unlimited, Airtel unliminet gives you data, calls and SMS with one purchase, a product which closely resembles Safaricom all in one bundles and Telkom Holla.
Launched in Feb 2015, Airtel unliminet greatly changed the landscape of telecommunications in the country, being the first  to provide free WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail even if the data bundles ran out.
Many products like the all in one bundles have also greatly borrowed from the unliminet bundles.
All these products give you data, SMS and call minutes in one purchase, hence no need to buy data, SMS or subscribe to call minutes separately.
Airtel UnlimiNet Bundles.
There are three unliminet bundles that you can choose from; daily, weekly or monthly subscriptions, all bundled with data, voice calls both on net and off net plus SMS across all local networks.
The subscriptions are as follows:
1.Unliminet daily.
You can choose from the following:
  • Daily ksh.50. This gives you 200MB data,15 minutes across all networks and 29 SMS across all networks.
  • Daily Ksh. 50, gives you 200 MB data, 25 minutes across all networks and 60 SMS.
  • Daily ksh.100. You get 400 MB data, 60  minutes across all networks and 500 SMS.
Initially there used to be a daily unliminet 20. which used to give10 MB data, 4 minutes Airtel to Airtel, 4 minutes to other networks and 20 SMS.
Unliminet weekly-The options are:
  • Weekly Ksh.50. With this bundle you get 200 MB data, 15 across all networks and 50 SMS.
  • Weekly 250, Get 1GB data, 100 minutes to all networks and 500 SMS.
  • Weekly unliminet 500. Gives 2.5 GB, 300 minutes across all networks and 250 SMS.
Monthly unliminet.
You can choose from the following:
  • Ksh.399 gives you 1 GB data, 100 minutes on net calls every day and 100 off net minutes monthly.
  • Ksh.500 which gives you 3GB, 150 minutes across all networks and 1,000 SMS.
  • Ksh.1000. Get 8Gb data + free 15 GB,400 minutes across all networks and 2000 SMS
  • Ksh.2000. 20 GB + 15 GB free data,1200 minutes to all networks and 10,000 SMS across all networks.
All unliminet plans come with free WhatsApp, Facebook and twitter up to 100 MB daily reset at midnight.
How to subscribe to Airtel Unliminet bundles.
To subscribe, diall *544#,select option 3,then choose your preffered bundle.
Alternatively,diall *100#,select buy bundles and services, then choose option 3.
It is also good to note that all the unliminet bundles come with free WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail up to 100 MB daily reset at midnight as long as within the expiry period.
All unused bundles are rolled over upon renewal on or before the expiry of the existing bundle. This is another major advantage of this product.
Upon depletion of your bundle, you will be charged 0.2 bib per MB.
You also earn Zawadi Points each time you buy unliminet.
It is even great to know that the unliminet weekly and monthly options come with unlimited internet browsing, meaning that you can still continue browsing even after your data bundles run out, though at a reduced speed of 256 Kbps.
In case you buy a new  bundle before the expiry of the existing bundle, then you will loose on the length of the validity period of the new bundle, since you cannot use two unliminet plans simultaneously. For example if you are on the monthly plan and have not exhausted all the bundles and you buy the weekly plan, then the weekly one will go to waste if it expires before the monthly one. So make sure that you only purchase a new plan after totally exhausting the previous one.
Currently, Airtel unliminet is the cheapest plan as compared to other almost related products from other telcos. The closest such product is Telkom holla, but unlike unliminet, holla only gives on net calls and does not include offnet minutes.
Airtel Unliminet Modem.
Unlike the unliminet discussed above, unliminet modem gives you only data bundles and no calls or SMS. This offer targets the heavy internet users, and as a token gives you free WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter.
It also allows you continue browsing even after the data runs out, though at a reduced speed of 256 kbps. But in case you want to regain your full browsing speed then you can buy a modem booster plan.
Unliminet modem data plans.
You can choose from daily, weekly or monthly options as given below:
1.Daily unliminet modem options:
  • Daily Ksh.50. 200 MB data.
  • Daily Ksh. 99- 500 MB
2.Weekly unliminet modem:
  • Weekly Ksh.250-1 GB
  • Weekly Ksh.999-5 GB
3.Monthly unliminet modem:
Monthly Ksh.2999- 20Gb
Conclusion.
Airtel unlimited is a great product that is unmatched. The only concern that all Airtel customers, just like those of Telkom, is their poor internet speeds.
Another great product that Airtel Kenya is famously known for is the Airtel Tubonge plan which gives it's users free on-net calls and call across other networks at just Ksh. 2 bob per minute upon purchase of a given plan.
