Zuku, a brand under Wananchi Group LTD is one of the leading Fixed internet providers in the country and the entire East African region. It provides fixed internet services for homes and offices, Digital Satellite TV  as well as digital telephony services.

In March 2017, Zuku introduced double speeds which saw a number of packages receive upto double the speeds with the same price. The 1Mbps package was upgraded to 2Mbps, 4Mbps to 5Mbps, 30Mbps to 50Mbps and 60 to 100Mbps. The new changes also saw the introduction of 250Mbos package under Triple play for Ksh. 19,999 per month.
Come September 2020 and Zuku were at it again with the second phase of double speeds and the introduction of the 'fastest internet package' in the country with speeds up to 500Mbps still under the Triple pay package which apart from the fixed internet also gives it's subscribers free Digital Satellite TV Packages as well as free Zuku to Zuku calls and call other networks at Ksh. 2 Bob per minute.

Zuku has a wide range of home internet packages to choose from, broadly y into two:

  • Internet Only: Offers internet connection only, though with a small extra fee you also get access to TV channels.
  • Triple Play: Offers high speed internet coupled with TV access as well as calls.

This is Zuku's most affordable package. For just Ksh.2,799 you get:

How to pay for Zuku internet.
In order to always keep you connected, Zuku offers you a variety of options to make your payments right from direct debit to mobile money transfer services.

Direct Debit.
This is an instruction from you to your bank authorizing Zuku to transfer money from your bank account to your Zuku account. The money will be deducted automatically on a monthly basis on your due date.
Of the available payment options, this is the most convenient since once your application is processed you will never need to work about getting disconnected.
In order to use this service:
  • Fill a Direct Debit application form at any Zuku shop, or Download the form at Zuku website.
  • Attach a copy of the front side of your ATM card and drop the application at a Zuku Shop.
  • The application will be processed within 15 working days and commence on the next due date.
How to pay Zuku Home Internet with M-Pesa.
To pay your Zuku bills via M-Pesa:
  1. Go to M-Pesa on your SIM toolkit menu.
  2. Select Lipa Na M-Pesa, then Paybill option.
  3. Enter the Zuku Paybill number 320320.
  4. Enter your Zuku account number starting with the word 'zuku' without spacing e.g zukuxxxxx.
  5. Enter the amount to pay followed by your M-Pesa pin.
  6. Confirm your transaction details and press OK or Send.
  7. You will receive a confirmation SMS about your transaction.
Using Airtel Money.
  1. On your SIM toolkit select Airtel Money.
  2. Select 'Make Payment', then 'Paybill Option
  3. Select OTHER.
  4. Enter business name ZUKUCATY
  5. Enter the amount followed by your Airtel money pin.
  6. For reference enter xxxxx where xxxxx is your Zuku account.
  7. You will receive a confirmation SMS and email from Zuku.
Paying using Equitel.
  1. Go to Equitel on your phone.
  2. Select My money option.
  3. Select Send/pay option
  4. Select the account you wish to make payments from.
  5. Select Others and aenter Business number 320330. Enter account code.
  6. Enter the amount you want to pay.
  7. Enter your Equitel pin and send.
  8. You will receive a confirmation SMS 
  9. Payments reflect on Zuku within 15 minutes.
Paying through Bank.
Payments through Equity and Prime bank is available to all Zuku customers at any bank branch countrywide. The customers does not need to necessarily have an existing account with the said banks in order to make payments through the banks.
Payment's (cash or cheque) made through Prime bank should be made 3 working days in advance to ensure it is updated in good time.
