Telkom Kenya has launched Fred WiFi hotspots in parts of the CBD that can now provide free secure WiFi access to anyone in need.
The initiative known as Link Kenya is as a result of partnerships between TelkomKenya, MeelinMedia limited and the County Government Of Nairobi.
The initiative is expected to boos internet access in the country, a welcomed move especially by those who cannot afford daily data.
This comes months after Telkom introduced Free zones in some parts of the country that allows its subscribers make free Telkom on net calls all day all night at absolutely no costs or subscription.
