The Cheapest 5G Phones in India That Actually Work on Airtel, Jio AND Vi (December 2025 Update)

I’ve been digging through Flipkart listings, Reddit threads, carrier forums and even a couple of Telegram groups for the last two weeks because I needed to buy three phones for my parents and cousins — all under ₹15,000, and they had to work properly on Airtel, Jio and Vi without any of that “SA-only” nonsense. Here’s the real-world list I finally settled on after checking every single model myself (and making my cousin test them in Pune, Delhi and a small town in Uttar Pradesh).

Phones under ₹15,000 that give you 5G on ALL three networks right now

Itel P55 5G – ₹7,299

Yeah, I couldn’t believe it either. Someone got one for his uncle last week. Pulled 300-400 Mbps on Airtel in central Delhi and 600+ on Jio in Noida. Vi 5G also popped up in Lucknow. No complaints except the camera is average in low light — but at this price, who cares?

Lava Yuva 5G – ₹7,999

“Made in India” sticker and all. My friend in Hyderabad is using it on Vi and says the signal holds better than his old Realme in the basement. 18W charging is decent, battery lasts almost two days with light use.

iQOO Z10 Lite 5G – ₹9,999 (4+128GB)

This one surprised me the most. 6000 mAh battery, IP64 rating and proper 5G on every network. My cousin games on it (BGMI at medium settings) and it never heats up crazy. Best deal under 10k if you ask me.

Moto G45 5G – ₹10,999

Clean Android, vegan leather back, Dolby Atmos speakers. Motorola pushed an update last month that added even more 5G bands. Works perfectly on Airtel in Mumbai locals — I tested it myself during peak hours.

Infinix Hot 60 5G – ₹11,499

JBL-tuned speakers and a surprisingly good 120 Hz screen for the price. My sister uses Airtel and keeps posting reels shot on this thing. Looks way more expensive than it is.

Vivo T4 Lite 5G – ₹11,999

Slimmest in the list, feels premium in hand. Vivo’s colour tuning makes selfies pop. 5G speeds are solid across networks, though charging is only 15W.

Poco M7 Pro 5G – ₹12,499 (6+128GB)

Finally an AMOLED screen under 13k! 33W charging is a lifesaver. Got 0-100% in about 65 minutes. HyperOS has some bloat but you can uninstall most of it.

Realme Narzo 70x 5G – ₹12,999

45W charging is insane at this price — 50% in 28 minutes flat. Screen is bright enough outdoors and 5G bands are all there.

Moto G64 5G – ₹13,999 (8+128GB)

The most “complete” phone here. 6000 mAh, OIS camera, stock Android, NFC (for future Google Pay tap), and 5G literally everywhere I took it. If your budget can stretch, just get this and forget.

The one phone I tell everyone to AVOID if you use Airtel or Vi is the Redmi A4 5G (₹8,499)

Looks tempting on paper, but it’s SA-only. That means Jio 5G works perfectly, but Airtel and Vi show only 4G even in 5G areas. Half the comment section on Flipkart is people crying about this. Skip it unless you’re 100% sure you’ll stay on Jio forever.

Quick buying advice from someone who just went through this headache

  • If budget < ₹9,000 → Itel P55 or Lava Yuva
  • If you want battery + durability → iQOO Z10 Lite
  • If you hate bloatware → Any Motorola (G45 or G64)
  • If you want the best screen + fast charging → Poco M7 Pro or Realme Narzo 70x
  • If you can stretch to 14k → Moto G64 and thank me later.

Prices keep changing (especially with upcoming Christmas sales), so check the latest on Flipkart/Amazon. I’ll probably update this post in January once the Republic Day sales hit.Hope this saves someone the 15 tabs I had open last week. Drop a comment if you bought any of these — would love to know how they’re still working great for you too!

The Hidden Ceiling: Why Your Airtel "Unlimited" 5G Suddenly died at 300GB

You did everything right. You had a compatible 5G phone, an eligible prepaid plan, and you claimed your "Unlimited 5G Data" offer. For weeks, you enjoyed blazing-fast speeds, downloading, streaming, and gaming without a care in the world. Then, around the 300GB mark, it happened. The warp-speed connection vanished. You're left with sluggish speeds, or worse, your 5G connection reverts entirely to 4G/LTE. The problem isn't a technical glitch, nor is it a random network failure. It's a carefully crafted policy known as the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), and it's the invisible hand throttling your internet access. 🤯 The Truth: "Unlimited" Doesn't Mean Infinite The sudden death of your high-speed 5G service is the direct consequence of Airtel enforcing a hidden data cap, which they have now clarified in their terms and conditions, largely following directives from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Here is the simple, painful reason your 5G...
