Verizon Launches New Mobile Hotspot Plans.

Verizon announced new mobile hotspot plans

Verizon have Announced four new mobile hotspot plans that will greatly increase convenience of having a hotspot network on the go for millions of Users.

The four plans namely Essential, Plus, Pro and premium allows users to leverage the power of 5G to turn their devices including laptops and tablets into powerful hotspot powerhouses.

While Essential which is the basic plan only utilizes the 5G Nationwide and LTE bands, the Plus, Pro and Premium plans include the more powerful faster 5G Ultra-wide band.

The plans costs from as low as USD 20 for Essential up to USD 80 for the Premium plan. Essential and Plus plans are only available for Verizon customers while the pro and Premium can also be purchased plans.

Verizon  Mobile Hotspot Plans.

1. Essential. USD 40/Month for Verizon Customers.

This plan is only available to Verizon customers for USD 20 per month.

You get 15GB data allowance on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE after which speeds will drop up to 600kps for the rest of the month.

 2. Plus. USD 40 for Verizon Customers.

This is also another hotspot plan exclusive to Verizon customer which gives you 50GB data which drops up to 3Mbps on 5G Ultra and 600Kbps on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE.

3. Pro. 

USD 60 for Verizon Customers with a smartphone on an eligible unlimited plan or USD 90 as a standalone plan.

  • 5G Ultrawide access.
  • 100GB of hotspot data.
  • 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE.
  • Speeds become 3Mbps on 5G Ultrawide band and 600Kbps on Nationwide 4G LTE once you exhaust your data allowance.

4. Premium.  

USD 80 for Verizon customers with a smartphone in an eligible unlimited plan or USD 110 as a standalone plan.

  • 150GB mobile hotspot data.
  • 5G Ultra Wideband access.
  • 4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE.
  • Speeds become 3Mbps on 5G Ultrawide band and 600Kbps on Nationwide 4G LTE once you exhaust your data allowance.

If you are a Verizon customer, you can add a mobile hotspot plan to a Mix&Match Unlimited to get a 50% off discount on Essential or Plus plan which will lower your cost to USD 10 for Essential and USD 20 for Plus.

Please note that you need to have a 5G Ultra Wideband compatible device to use the Premium, pro and plus plans or a 5G Nationwide compatible device in order to use any of the plans.

Already Verizon have a number of Compatible devices including the Verizon Orbic Speed Mobile Hotspot, Inseego MiFi M2100 5G UW, Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L and Verizon Global Modem USB 730L. You can shop for these devices  or use your own compatible device.
