From just redeeming your points for airtime, you can now redeemed Bonga Points for almost anything including airtime, data bundles, Mpesa, phones and pay for goods and services at selected stores countrywide.
In an attempt to increase it's efforts in cushioning it's subscribers against the jaws of the COVID-19, Safaricom have introduced a pay for food with bonga initiative that allows the most vulnerable of it's customers pay for selected goods and services using bonga points.
It also encourages those with enough bonga points and don't really need to donate or sambaza to those in need.
With the Jisort Na Bonga Points 2021 now live at all Safaricom shops countrywide you  have a chance to redeem you Bonga Points for a smartphone and if you don't have enough points you can request a friend or family members to top it up by sending you their points.
If likewise you are not in a hurry to use your points, you can make a difference in someone's life by sending them some points.
Just choose any safaricom number to send to, and follow the simple steps below:

How to transfer bonga points.
You can easily transfer Bonga Points to another Safaricom line via USD or using the Safaricom app. 
  • Dial *126# on your Safaricom line.
  • Go to option 5 "transfer bonga points'.
  • Enter the recipient's phone number.
  • Enter amount of bonga to transfer.
  • Enter your bonga pin and send.
  • Alternatively go to my Safaricom app.
  •  Click on services then bonga services.
  • Select the transfer option and follow the remaining instructions to complete your transfer.
