The Nokia C2 Tennen has a long list of Competitors, most of them having almost the same specs and within the same price range. The Nokia 2.3 which is available in the country at a price of Ksh. 10,499 is one of it's best alternatives, having the same Mediatek Helio A22 processor, dual cameras and the same memory capacity. However the Nokia 2.3 is slightly more beautiful than the C2 Tennen and has a slightly bigger 4,000 mAh battery.
Another close Competitor is the recently launched Realme C12, a budget Smartphone well known for it's long lasting 6,000 mAh battery. Though it might be slightly expensive, realme C12 has a bigger 6.5 inch display and a slightly powerful Mediatek Helio G35 Processor.
Other phones you can check out before settling in this phone include the Infinix Hot series, the Nokia 2.2 and the 2019 Vivo V90.
Just like many other Nokia phones, the C2 Tennen comes with a clean Android 10 which ensures a much cleaner and perfect user experience with zero bloatware and ads, a bigger advantage over the likes of Infinix and Tecno phones.

Display And Design.
Just like other Nokia C series Smartphones, the C2 Tennen has a classic design that reminds you of 2017 Smartphones, with thick bezels at the top and bottom.
It measures 150.6 x 72.4 x 9.1 mm, the same measurements as the Nokia C2 Tava. At 9.1mm thick it is the thickest of the C series with the Nokia C3 the slimmest at 8.7mm.
At the back are the dual cameras placed horizontally at the top center of the phone, the Nokia logo below it and at the bottom the Cricket logo, a reminder that this phone might not sell outside the intented market of Cricket users.
At the front is the 5.45 inch IPS LCD display, the same size as the Nokia C1, C1 Plus and the C2 Tava. The Nokia C5 Endi has the biggest screen in this series, at 6.52 inch but is also the most expensive with a retail price tag of Ksh. 17,500.
The Display is an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440, the same as the C1 Plus, C2 Tava and the Nokia C3.
The slightly smaller screen results in a slightly higher pixel Density of 295 ppi, much better than many Infinix phones including the Note 7.
Software Performance.
The Nokia C2 Tennen is powered by a Quad-core Mediatek Helio A22, an entry level processor released mid 2018. It is the same chipset found in the likes of Nokia 2.2, Nokia 2.3 and many other entry level Smartphones.
The processor is backed by 2GB RAM, much more than necessary for such entry-level smartphones. You have an option to choose between 16 or 32GB storage, with an option to expand it upto 256GB via an SD card.
Cameras and the battery.
This phone's comes with a total of 3 cameras, two at the back and one in front. The rear Cameras are made up of a dual 8MP + 2MP sensors with LED flash and HDR support. This is not a camera-centric phone, and the cameras bare just good enough for your basic camera needs.
The selfie camera is a single 5MP sensor Wich can also shoot videos of 720p@30fps.
The Nokia C2 Tennen features a removable 3,000 mAh battery, and thanks to the AI adaptive battery technology it can last you upto 2 days with a single charge. The AI adaptive battery technology studies your phone usage patterns in order to prioritize battery life for those apps you use the most, thus prolonging the overall battery usage. The 10W fast charge is also a nice addition, though too small to notice meaningful accelerated charging.
