Nokia C2 Tava Price in Kenya and Specifications
Announced May 29th 2020 together with the Nokia C2 Tennen and Nokia C5 Endi, The Nokia C2 Tava with a price of Ksh. 7,500 is another great entry level Smartphone from HMD Global that was excusively ment for Cricket USA.

The C2 Tava just like the Nokia C2 Tennen has a more classical look that reminds us of the earlier Nokia Android phones with thick bezels at the top and bottom of the phone.

It features a 5.45 inch IPS LCD screen with a HD+ display resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels the same as the C2 Tennen, Nokia C1 Plus and the Nokia C2, all entry level Nokia Smartphones.

The phone is powered by a Mediatek Helio A22 chipset, an entry level processor that's mostly famous with low budget smartphones including the Infinix S5 and Nokia 2.1 among other budget phones. The processor is packed by 2GB RAM, quite enough for such a phone and you have an option to choose between 16 or 32GB of internal storage.

The C2 Tava comes with Dual rear Cameras made up of a primary 8MP sensor and another 2 MP lens the same as in the C2 Tennen. In front is a single 5MP selfie camera that can also shoot 720p videos.

The battery is a 3,000 mAh removable Li-po with 10W fast charge, the basic that you can get in a Smartphone. However small as it is, the battery can last you upto 2 days with a single charge on normal use.

Nokia C2 Tava Price in Kenya.

The Nokia C2 Tava is expected to have a price of between Ksh. 7,500 and Ksh. 9,999 once it becomes available in the country.

At such a price tag this phone has a long list of Competitors most of them having almost the same specs and within the same price range. Some of the close Competitors of the Nokia C2 Tava are:
  • The Nokia C1 Plus
  • Nokia C2
  • Nokia C3
  • Nokia C5 Endi.
  • Infinix Hot 8
  • Infinix Smart 5.
  • Redmi 9A
  • Vivo Y1S
  • Nokia 2.1
  • Realme C11
There are also a number of alternatives but mostly you will have to top up in order to get a slightly much powerful phone.
The Nokia 2.3 which is available in the country at a price of Ksh. 10,499 is one of it's best alternatives, having the same Mediatek Helio A22 processor, dual cameras and the same memory capacity. However the Nokia 2.3 is slightly more beautiful than the C2 Tava and has a slightly bigger 4,000 mAh battery.
Another worthy upgrade is the recently launched Realme C12, a budget Smartphone well known for it's long lasting 6,000 mAh battery. Though it might be slightly expensive, realme C12 has a bigger 6.5 inch display and a slightly powerful Mediatek Helio G35 Processor.
Other phones you can check out before settling on this phone include the Infinix Hot series, the Nokia 2.2 and the 2019 Vivo V90.
Just like many other Nokia phones, the C2 Tava comes with a clean Android 10 which ensures a much cleaner and perfect user experience with zero bloatware and ads, a bigger advantage over the likes of Infinix and Tecno phones.
