Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Price In Kenya And Full Phone Specification

Black shark 4 Price in Kenya

Announced March this year, the Black shark 4 series are the fourth generation of Xiaomi’s Gaming phones taking over from the Black shark 3. The two are the Black shark 4 and Black shark 4 Pro both having a number of high tech features. The Black shark 4 has a retail price of around Ksh. 39,000 which is much more affordable when you consider it’s specifications.

Being a game-centric phone, the Black shark 4 has some of the best gaming features including a big display with high refresh rate and touch sampling rate, a powerful processor, big memory and advanced shoulder gaming buttons.

It features a 6.67 inch Super AMOLED display slightly smaller than the 6.78 inch of the Asus Rog Phone 5 which is it’s closest rival. The display resolution is Full HD+ of 1080 x 2400 pixels which is good enough for a phone at this price tag. The interesting part of this display however is it’s high responsivity of 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate making this display one of the best responsive screen. It also supports HDR10+ and it’s maximum brightness of 1300 nits is more than enough to be used in all lighting conditions including directly under the sun.

The phone still features the mechanic shoulder buttons we saw in previous Black shark phones but are more advanced and better designed in order to fit seamlessly in the phone’s design. The buttons are used for gaming and are now becoming a must have in Gaming-centric phones. Surprisingly enough these buttons are not only limited to gaming, but can also be customized for other ordinary phone functions like camera shutter button or power switch button.

Built for heavy gamers, the Black shark 4 has a dual facing speakers for maximum sound effect and has an external cooling accessory which can be purchased separately.

The Black Shark 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G, a powerful gaming chipset that can handle all games including graphic intensive games like PUBG. It also handles high frame rates and there’s nothing to complain about when it comes to this phone's performance. Other phones with the same processor include the Motorola Moto G100, Vivo X60, Oppo Find X3 and OnePlus 9R.

The phone is available in two memory variants of 8+128GB and 12+256GB. While the 8GB RAM is more than enough for all your needs including multitasking or gaming, it would be nice if you can get the later which has more RAM and storage.

The Black Shark 4 has a 4,500 mAh non removable battery which is small for a gaming phone and Xiaomi should have given us at least a 5,000mAh on this phone. Thankfully there is a 120W fast charge which can achieve full charge in just 18 minutes. This is insanely fast and it would be amazing to have such a phone.

In the camera department the phone also has some of the best lenses with a Triple-rear cameras and a single front camera. The rear cameras are made up of a primary 48MP lens, an 8MP Ultrawide lens and a 5MP depth sensor. In front is a single 20MP selfie camera.
