Samsung Galaxy A71 Price In Kenya

The Samsung Galaxy A71 is a mid-range Smartphone from Samsung Electronics released January 2020 and is currently available in Kenya with an average retail price of Ksh. 41,999. Just like other Galaxy A series, the phone has the Display, Cameras and the battery as it’s main selling specs but the processor is another highlight of this phone.

The Galaxy A71 features a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED panel exactly the same size as that of it’s successor the Galaxy A72 released March this year. The infinity o full curved display has very thin bezels giving the phone a full display front with the selfie camera is neatly tugged at the notifications bar giving you a full view display. The display has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels the same as other Galaxy A phones including the A72, A52 and A51. Just like the Galaxy A51 the A71 doesn’t come with 90Hz refresh rate but the 393 pixel density is more than good resulting in sharp and crisp images making this phone one of the best phones for playing games and watching videos.

Just like it’s sister the Galaxy A51 the A71 is made out of a plastic back with a Gorilla Glass 3 front which ensures zero screen scratches and gives your phone the maximum durability that is a preserve of flagship devices. Unlike the Galaxy A52 and A72 that have an IP 67 rating, the A71 is not IP rated meaning it’s not dust and water resistant.  It features an in-display fingerprint sensor but you can also decide to use the face unclock feature.

Being a 2020 phone it ships with Android 10 atop the One UI 3.1 and thankfully it is Android 11 ready. Unlike the A51 which spots the Exynos 9611 processor, Samsung decided to go for a much more powerful Snapdragon 730g in the A71 and they could have not been more on point. This is a powerful 8nm chipset that is also powering a number of mid-range phones including the Oppo Reno 2, Lenovo Z6 and the much pricier Samsung Galaxy A80 among other best selling mid-range smartphones.

Unlike many Galaxy A phones that have a wide range of memory sizes to choose from, thw Galaxy A71 is only available in two memory variants of 6+128GB and 8+128GB with a dedicated SD card slot. You can choose between Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Silver, Prism Crush Blue and Prism Crush Pink which are almost the same colors as those of the Galaxy A51.

In the camera department the Galaxy A71 comes with a total of five Cameras four in the rear and one in front. The rear cameras are made up of a primary 64MP wide lens, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor. The primary camera is much powerful compared with the 48MP in the Galaxy A51. Otherwise the other lenses are the same including the 32MP selfie camera.

The camera performance of this phone is quite good and outperforms many phones at it’s price tag. Being a mid range phone we couldn’t expect anything less than 4k video recording and we are yet to see 8K at this price.

The Galaxy A71 is powered by a non removable 4,500 mAh battery with 25w fast charge which is much better than the 15w charge in the A51.

Airtel Zawadi points-Everything you need to Know.

Zawadi is a Swahili term for a gift or to reward. Airtel Zawadi therefore is a loyalty program by Airtel Kenya aimed at rewarding its customers for staying loyal to the brand by using their various products and services .  The service closely resembles Safaricom bonga and Telkom Ziada , both also rewarding customers for using their lines to make calls, browse or send SMS as well as transacting on mpesa. How To register for Airtel Zawadi . Initially for you to begin earning Zawadi points, you first had to register for the same by dialing *326# and selecting the option for ' registration'.  Then we couldn't see the option to register and when we contacted Airtel they told us new customers we're automatically enrolled to the program on successful registration of their lines so that they could begin earning from their first too up.  However it seems Airtel are not enrolling their Subscribers for the program anymore, and when I tried to check my points balance after us
