Workmines review. As workmines finally gone under?

It was a simple SMS, that promised I could earn up to Ksh.8,400 per week, approximately USD.84 per week just watching YouTube and Netflix ads.
First I didn't mind about it. But then, something got my attention. This was an online money making opportunity, promising to pay good money, and in local currencies.....This looked good to be true.
I immediately started doing my research about this site, and as it turned out, there was a catch.
Knowing that many would fall into this scam, I published my review which I explained in detailed why I would not sign up for such a deal, and hope I helped those who came across it.
For those who weren't aware that this was a scam, sorry but take it as a lesson learned the hard way.
Is Workmines  no more?
As from June 6th, the beautifully designed Workmines  website and their Android app are no more, a clear indictation that there is nothing much members can do now, and don't expect a miracle to happen.
What were the red signs?
As mentioned earlier, there were a lot of red flags that clearly showed that this side was not headed the right direction, and these were some of them:
Membership sign up fee.
The site offered four membership plans, including a free 14 day trial.
Except for the free trial, you had to pay to be a member, and it was not a small amount. Each of these plans gave you a maximum number of videos to watch on a daily basis, meaning if you wanted to earn more, the only way is to upgrade to a higher plan.
So, why pay to work? Doesn't add up.
Withdrawal structure.
I must admit these fellows did a good job in designing their scam strategy.
Since the major opportunities to make money from Workmines  were through watching video ads and referrals, there was a maximum value you could not exceed depending on which plan you were.
In order to ensure there was not for free, the free trial was designed in such a way that you could not reach the minimum withdrawal threshold, unless you signed up for one of the paid plans.
Members could also withdraw their cash only twice a week on particular days, and then later changed it to once a week; Thursday.
Why would they not allow you withdraw your money any time you wished?
The 'No refund' policy.
The site clearly stated that if at any time for any reason you wanted to close shop, there was no way you could demand for a refund of your membership fee.
The choice of countries.
This site claimed to have been registered in Latvia, and also claimed it had over 60 local representatives in various countries all over the world.
But the only countries I could see listed were Latvia, Philippines, Kenya, Zambia, India and Belgium.
These are countries with high literacy levels, low employment opportunities and huge number of smartphones, with tech companies like Tecno, Infinix, Sumsung, Oppo and others making huge smartphone sales.
They were sure they would get a lot of money over a short period of time, then....
There are so many other signs that clear labeled Workmines  a scam, and I can go on and on, but..
If you lost your money, sorry. If you were lucky to have gotten a payout, thank your stars and next time take your time and do a research before paying anything online.

Zawadi is a Swahili term for a gift or to reward. Airtel Zawadi therefore is a loyalty program by Airtel Kenya aimed at rewarding its customers for staying loyal to the brand by using their various products and services .  The service closely resembles Safaricom bonga and Telkom Ziada , both also rewarding customers for using their lines to make calls, browse or send SMS as well as transacting on mpesa.
